Ideal destination for your vacation?
I would really like to visit Tokyo and New York; these are the travels I most want to do. On the other hand, if I had to choose somewhere more tropical, I would choose Cape Verde

BEST for me, has been a “challenge” both at a personal and professional level. I was offered the possibility of being part of this team many years ago (21 to be exact), and I did not hesitate for a second. When I was assigned to the Customer department, I was reluctant, but as they say… “he who goes for it… achieves it”. For many, this won’t make sense, but what I like the most is the number “3”. A challenge that seemed impossible, an unattainable achievement, but with perseverance, and constant hard work, anything can be achieved. The relationship with clients is something that I would not change for any other department, and above all, the relationship with my colleagues.
The human team, the truth is that I have very good colleagues around me, we know how to work as a team and overcome the difficulties that arise, in addition to the good atmosphere that makes the day to day more enjoyable.
The human factor of my work colleagues and the technological factor of the terminal.
The way we work in operations, which is a constant challenge. We must solve any event immediately, and that daily “stress” makes our work so active and attractive for our day-to-day.
The day that I had the opportunity to enter in the terminal and see more closely its operation. I thought it was a huge site and very well coordinated. The best time was when I got on the crane. It was something different and it gets completely out of my daily routine.
What I like most is working in one of the most technologically advanced terminals and feeling a part of the project, seeing the constant progress and how it is reflected in the results. I’ve met people from other terminals of the Group and I know that BEST is a worldwide reference, so obviously this is very gratifying.
Having the privilege of being able to work and be part of a company like BEST and be able to share my work life with a fantastic team, both human and professional.
There are many satisfying things in my work, from everything going well (even if there have been unforeseen events) to my bosses, that although they know I am dedicated to my work, always have words of encouragement that transmit trust, tranquility and responsibility which I think I provide, and the “fighter” that I have become and I hope to continue being for many years.
For me, finishing the work well done and knowing that you have done it in the best way you can , is one of the most satisfying things.
Most of all my work colleagues. It’s so nice to work in a good atmosphere and good mood. Even if we are overwhelmed with work, I really value that we are able to joke around, always with a smiling face.
Today, with no doubt Nicky Jam. I went to a concert recently, and now Balbin in May … Well, these ones are with my 14 year old daughter. My music is Rock, always rock, driving and at really a loud volume. My Akrapovich also sounds great.
A day in the Maintenance Dept. tends to be quite busy. We deal with all the daily incidents, we work with suppliers and external companies to manage everything necessary regarding the maintenance of equipment and facilities and furthermore we have to manage all preventive maintenance in order to have the equipment as “fit” as possible.
There are many anecdotes, for example, one day a stevedore called us because his Reach Stacker would not start and when we went there, it was missing its’ two front wheels!
In addition to the good atmosphere, it is a pleasure to work in a company with such ambition and projection. At a time when the economy is not at its best, BEST has continued to grow and pointed upward.
Ensuring that the machinery is in perfect condition, having the support of my colleagues and the trust of the senior executives are the most satisfying aspects of my job.
There is no day like another, and I like that. I’ll take that every time I have to analyze something about the train I remember that I am great-granddaughter, granddaughter and niece of railway workers and my town is the only one in Teruel that appears in the statistics of rail freight traffic of Ministry of Development.
Although I am quite a music lover and my tastes are eclectic in musical matters, I focus in Rock music. Some of my favorite groups are The Black Crowes and Pearl Jam, internationally. Sol Lagarto and Garage Jack are my favorite local groups, unfortunately broken up these last years.
The day I saw the first cranes arriving on those ships coming from so far away, it’s something you rarely can see, the images speak for themselves. It was great, thinking that their destiny was this terminal, and thus, we could take a big step in the evolution of BEST, both in terms of productivity and technology, as seeing our large fleet of giant automatic container stacking system.
Film “The Pursuit of Happyness” based on a true story about struggles in life when facing adversity. Favorite book “Hombres buenos” by Pérez Reverte it’s about some academics, at the beginning of the French Enlightenment period, who whilst in search of wisdom face and confront challenges.
One of the things that I like the most from BEST is being able to solve problems that arise every day together with my co-workers.
I really like cinema in general, but if I had to choose, Pulp Fiction, Blood Diamond, or Law Abiding Citizen are some of my favorite films. I don’t read very much, but I like romantic novels
I would highlight the technological knowledge that I have acquired and the professional development I have experienced, which for the most part has been possible thanks to my colleagues.
Any day that the system runs fast and smoothly, but as a special day I would say the day of the opening ceremony of the terminal.
The good atmosphere and the daily role with my mates. One of the most satisfying things of my job is when you realize that you’ve met the set goals thanks to the teamwork.
There are several things: to work in a multinational company, to practice languages daily, and mainly the workmates that I think it is an important factor. Going to work with a smile every morning is not only a result of doing what you like, but working with wonderful people.
Intense. After 15 years I have had a lot of anecdotes, one of the most curious was when I saw a 20 tones container floating in the water and it wouldn’t sink. Another one could be Martos’s retirement party, and how he pretended to know nothing.
The project, the people and that I really enjoy what I do. It’s amazing to find a combination of an emblematic project, a fantastic and goal-oriented team and a professional challenge as I’ve found here.
