– Favorite film or book
I love reading and watching movies, so my choice is based on what best taste left me.
In the category of books, I’d highlight Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen, read in original version.
If you like the series, the BBC adaptation is masterful.
As regards films, certainly I’ll take Two for the road, by Stanley Donen.
As for music, Henri Mancini is unforgettable.
– Favorite music
Swing music, for example, as music that I can dance. In addition, every day I wake up with a song of Enrique Iglesias. Finally, I love the ballet, highlighting Tchaikovsky: The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty,…
– Favorite meal
I love the dishes where fish is present: grilled, in seafood paella, in fideuà … washed down with a good white wine, of course.
– Your perfect holiday destination?
The islands in general, and the Mediterranean in particular, not to mention Costa Brava.
– What do you like the most about working at BEST?
People are lovely: They always have a smile, a positive comment, willing to do things right. On the other hand, every day is a professional challenge, which I love.
– Your happiest day at BEST?
There have been many good days. Any day in which I have been actively involved starts and works as expected and days in which issues are minimal: the ASCs, the first ship that worked in BEST, the Business Intelligence, the Paperless …
– Describe your role at BEST. Do you have any anecdote?
There is no day like another, and I like that.
Any stories? I’ll take that every time I have to analyze something about the train I remember that I am great-granddaughter, granddaughter and niece of railway workers and my town is the only one in Teruel that appears in the statistics of rail freight traffic of Ministry of Development.
– What is the most satisfying thing of your job?
The most satisfying aspect is to get my teammates to be more efficient in their work. Also, being part of the project of the new terminal equipment and the fact that it is as relevant in society is something indescribable. Undoubtedly, we are all contributing to economic growth.
