– Which is your favorite film or book?

If I had to choose a film: PLACIDO, by Berlanga; a book, any from Arturo Perez Reverte.

– Your favorite meal?

Spinach with bechamel sauce served with boiled egg and fried bread.

– Your perfect holiday destination?

Any place where I could be doing nothing, but only if I don’t need to take a plane to get there.

– What do you like the most about working at BEST?

Achieving the commitments that we have with our customers; planning the vessel operations and seeing that everything has been done well, and the good environment that we have with other departments in the company.

– Your happiest day at BEST?

The official opening of the terminal, and of course when everything is on track. Planning operations is really difficult mainly at weekends, so when all works out I feel proud of my contribution.

– Describe your role at BEST. Do you have any anecdote?

Intense.
After 15 years I have had a lot of anecdotes, one of the most curious was when I saw a 20 tones container floating in the water and it wouldn’t sink. Another one could be Martos’s retirement party, and how he pretended to know nothing.

– What is the most satisfying thing of your job?

Our operations department team as a whole. We are a great team and we work very well together.
