– Favorite book or film

If I have to choose a film, “Life is Beautiful” by Roberto Benigni, I could see it thousands times! About the book, there are also lots of them, but one that I especially like is “The Hobbit” by J.R.R. Tolkien.

– Favorite meal

Even it may sound typical, anything cooked by my mother (she is a great cooker).

– Your favorite holiday destination

Any place where I could see animals (and the better if I can interact with them), and enjoy a good landscape.

– What do you like the most about working at BEST?

There are several things: to work in a multinational company, to practice languages daily, and mainly the workmates that I think it is an important factor. Going to work with a smile every morning is not only a result of doing what you like, but working with wonderful people.

– Your happiest day at BEST?

Actually I think there is not a better day, but also better moments. Maybe the best moment was when I told my marriage to my colleagues and the happiness I saw in their faces.

– Describe your role at BEST. Do you have any anecdote?

My daily role changes depending on the weeks of the month. At the beginning and at the end of each month the closing and the reporting are my main tasks.

It is like a trouble because I have to ask for information, process and analyze it in order to understand what has happened during the month, with an adjusted timetable.

The other two weeks of the months are quite different depending on the month. The main tasks are the revision and the elaboration of financial reports, but there are always last minute issues, so I never know how the day will finish.

Anecdotes? Since the 3 years and a half that I’ve been working on the company, I have had so many anecdotes. Maybe the one that I remember the most was the day of my interview job to get into the company. I get lost and I was more than an hour going around until I found the terminal. Luckily, as a good foresighted, I could be there on time!

– What is the most satisfying thing of your job?

I guess that one of the most satisfying thing is to work in what I like; and even there are always better days than others, I can say that I feel proud to work on what fascinates me.
