– Favorite film or book
To be honest, I don’t read a lot lately. But as an example, I remember that The Lord of The Rings trilogy really caught me. As for films, there are many… I could say Chasing Amy, to name one.
– Favorite music
Although I am quite a music lover and my tastes are eclectic in musical matters, I focus in Rock music. Some of my favorite groups are The Black Crowes and Pearl Jam, internationally. Sol Lagarto and Garage Jack are my favorite local groups, unfortunately broken up these last years.
– Favorite meal
I have an easy stomach and I am happy with little. Of course I like dishes of nouvelle cuisine but I also really enjoy a good piece meat well done with good homemade potato accompaniment.
– Your perfect holiday destination?
Since I have children, the best for the family is a quiet place where the distances are short and you can go from beach to beach and from town to town by car. But my ideal destinations would be tropical countries with plenty of nature and different culture, such as southeastern Asia.
– What do you like the most about working at BEST?
Working in a company of this size gives you a general and specific knowledge, and you learn something every day with the people you work with.
– Your happiest day at BEST?
The last time I felt a special satisfaction was when BEST was granted the status of Authorized Economical Operator, which was the culmination of a wider project started a few years ago.
– Describe your role at BEST. Do you have any anecdote?
Well … my every day is very varied. A lot of computer, telephone, internal and external meetings, site visits … When you touch many different themes, each day is unpredictable. Although I have routine tasks, at any time there may be a specific need or an incident to be catered to immediately, leaving aside what you’re doing at that moment.
– What is the most satisfying thing of your job?
Obviously, handling complaints is not the most grateful job in the world until the problem is solved. However, continuous improvement as observed in the management of the company from year to year is very comforting. Being in contact with all areas of the company, I have the good fortune to share sorrows and glories with a great team with special abilities.
