– Favorite film or book

Choosing a unique movie is very difficult but I like classical cinema, for example: “The Sound of music”, “Gone with the Wind”, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof”, etc…
I love the movies that are broadcasted at Easter, “The Passion of the Christ”, “Ben Hur”, “Jesus of Nazareth”, “The Ten Commandments”, “Quo Vadis”, I like them all…
Book: Right now I’m reading “Joseph, shadow of the father”, it is about the life of Joseph, father of Jesus, husband of the Virgin Mary.

– Favorite music

I like a bit of everything, I have not a genre that I particularly like, depending on the moment I like one type of music or another.

– Favorite meal

Undoubtedly my MUM’s food…. there is nothing like Mum’s food, even toast with ham, if Mum has made it….. it tastes like heaven!

– Your perfect holiday destination?

Anywhere in the world… everything has its charm or at least that is what I think, we have to see and appreciate, although we do not like the place, there is always something with essence.

– What do you like the most about working at BEST?

I am in a department that I love, being surrounded by a fantastic human and professional team, although I have to say that some days I would like to eat them all, hahaha.

The balance of all my years working in the Terminal is clearly positive. The important thing is that a good working environment has been created, we are all in the same situation and it is important to have good communication between us, it is fundamental.

– Your happiest day at BEST?

I could not say or explain my “best” day at BEST, I think that day to day everything is good, it does not matter that there are moments harder than others, but already the fact of working and fighting for it, is already positive.

– Describe your role at BEST. Do you have any anecdote?

My day to day is to coordinate the operations with the different public bodies, corridors, esplanades, resealings, etc…

I also have the possibility to organize other types of operations that the client requests as long as, logically, we have the viability of carrying them out.

Anecdotes? Well… I have been providing my services at the Terminal since the 02-10-2000… I have many and very good anecdotes, but the ones that continue to strike me is that there are still freight forwarders and companies who think that containers can be opened without permission from public bodies… each and every time I still can’t believe it!

– What is the most satisfying thing of your job?

There are many satisfying things in my work, from everything going well (even if there have been unforeseen events) to my bosses, that although they know I am dedicated to my work, always have words of encouragement that transmit trust, tranquility and responsibility which I think I provide, and the “fighter” that I have become and I hope to continue being for many years.
